Hi all! Sorry I haven't been around much, but today I`m starting to feel a little better. I was just shocked how hard this surgery was on me. I thought before that since I had had two C-sections that this would be a breeze. wrong! I am 20 years older now too.
But today I am beginning to feel better. I still can't seem to sleep well at all.. I think part of it is worrying about dehydration.  I do NOT under any cir****tances want to go back into the hospital! Yesterday I only got 48 oz of water in and only 34 oz of protien.
 I'm keeping everyone that is having surgery this week in my thoughts and prayers!

Hi Cindy,

I'm sorry that you've had a rough start, but the good news is that it is generally a downhill ride, so you've gotten through the roughest part and it will get better from here on out.

Wishing you continued success,

Hi, Cindy - glad that you feel well enough to be up and posting.  How is the pneumonia ??  better, too?

Let us hear how the doctor's visit went today...

Cindy,  Glad you feeling better.  I had my surgery on Dec.2 and its seems I have the same problem with my fluids.  It seem like all I do is drink.  I now have turned to my sugar free popsicles, and I'm getting my liquids and I also feel like I'm eating something.  I hope this will help with you fluid intake.  Take care      Connie

 Well, one week down!  All you can do is your best to get your water in and your protein.  I had a rough few weeks too, but it WILL get better.  Hang in there!

Well hello there Ms. Cindy!  I am so glad to hear you are starting to feel a little bit better.  Even a little makes such a huge difference, doesn't it?  I just learned recently that any liquid counts toward hydration...milk in protein shakes, soups, etc.  I'd been trying to drink 64 oz. of water on top of all the other liquids and I was having a time of it!  The protein does come easier with time.  I was able to get my 60g/day all this week and had to use 1 shake a day in order to do so.  Take good care of yourself and keep in touch.  My hubby and I were both worried senseless about you!  {{{Hugs!}}}

Thank you all so much. When I went back to the office to get my staples out I was having a hard time catching my breath, etc.  The Dr sent me to the hospital for more tests and the only thing it showed was I still have pneumonia and maybe a little more :(

I WILL get better! I`m so ready

Cindy
